Dani Pedrosa e Cal Crutchlow protagonizaram em Mugello um dos momentos quentes do GP de Itália com o espanhol da Honda a tirar da corrida o piloto britânico.

Crutcholow não gostou da atitude de Dani Pedrosa e no final, o piloto da LCR Honda afirmou ter ficado satisfeito por o espanhol ter perdido o 2.º lugar no campeonato.
